The situation

## The hour a day nobody costed

Orders arrive in one system. Stock lives in another. Invoices are issued in a third. And somebody spends an hour a day moving numbers between them, usually in a spreadsheet that exists only on their machine.

It works. It works until that person is on holiday, or until volume doubles, or until they leave and nobody else knows which columns matter.

The cost is rarely the hour. It is the errors that surface three weeks later in the accounts, when the stock figure and the invoiced figure disagree and nobody can say which of the two is right.

By then the fix is not an integration. It is a reconciliation exercise, and those are far more expensive than the connection that would have prevented them.

We build the connection, run it alongside your manual process, and only switch the manual step off once the two agree.

### A working connection

Built on the systems’ APIs rather than on scheduled file exports, so data moves when it changes rather than overnight.

### A written field mapping

What each field means on each side, agreed before anything is built. This is the document that decides whether the integration works.

### Error handling that speaks up

When something fails you are told what failed and what to do about it. Silent failure is the expensive kind.

### The manual steps automated

The approvals, notifications and record creation a person currently triggers by hand, triggered by the data instead.

### A parallel run

The integration runs beside your existing process for an agreed period and the outputs are compared before anything is switched off.

### Documentation and handover

What runs where, what it expects, and how to change it — so a later change does not require us.

If your combination is not here, it is probably still doable. Most business systems expose an API. The real question is never whether they can be connected — it is what the data means on each side, and that is what we establish first.

Process

## How the engagement runs

### Mapping

We establish what each field means in each system. A customer in your CRM and a customer in your accounting software are often not the same record at all.

### Agreement in writing

The mapping is signed off before any code is written. Discovering a disagreement about what a field means during the build is what makes integrations overrun.

### Build and parallel run

The integration runs alongside the manual process and the two sets of numbers are compared, including the awkward cases: refunds, partial deliveries, corrections.

### Switch-over and handover

Once the outputs agree, the manual step stops. Then documentation, a working session with whoever maintains it, and a support period after go-live.

## Who this is for

### A good fit

Companies running three or more business systems that do not talk to each other, businesses selling through several channels who reconcile stock by hand, and teams where a specific person has become the integration.

### Not a fit

A connection between two systems where one of them is being replaced within the year. Build it after the replacement, not before — otherwise you pay for the same work twice.
